CaloriePaper Is Live on iOS and Android

CaloriePaper is out on the App Store and Google Play. Log meals by typing them in plain language, track macros and micros, and fast - all in one app.

CaloriePaper is out. You can download it today on iOS and Android.

If you have ever started a calorie tracker in January and quietly stopped using it by February, you already know the two reasons this app exists.

Why we built another calorie tracker

Most trackers fail in one of two ways.

The first is speed. Search a database, scroll a list of near-identical entries, pick a serving size, then do it again for the next item, and again for the meal after that. Logging becomes a chore you have to schedule, and nobody sticks with a chore. Most people quit inside two weeks, and it is not because they lack discipline.

The second is vagueness. A generic database entry that says “Chicken Curry - 250 cal” tells you almost nothing about the curry you actually ate. Home-cooked food, regional food, anything without a barcode - it is barely represented, and when it is, the numbers are a guess dressed up as a fact.

You should be able to describe a meal the way you would describe it to a person.

That is the whole idea. You type what you ate in ordinary words, and you get back a structured, itemised breakdown that you can correct before anything is saved.

What logging actually looks like

You type

2 scrambled eggs, 2 slices of buttered toast, and a black coffee

You get back
  • Scrambled eggs 2 eggs 180 cal
    P 13g C 2g F 13g
  • Toast with butter 2 slices 220 cal
    P 6g C 28g F 10g
  • Black coffee 1 cup 0 cal
    P 0g C 0g F 0g
  • Total 3 items 400 cal
    P 19g C 30g F 23g
Every line is editable before anything is saved. Values shown are illustrative estimates.

What is in the app

Get it

CaloriePaper is available now on both platforms:

If you want to follow along as it grows, we are on Instagram and X. Feature requests, bug reports and blunt feedback are all welcome at [email protected] - this is version one, and the roadmap is genuinely shaped by what people tell us.

You do not need a Monday, a fresh notebook, or a better week to start. Log one meal today.

That is the honest pitch. The first log is the hard one. Everything after it takes about fifteen seconds.
