CaloriePaper is a calorie and nutrition tracking app. Here's a straightforward explanation of how we handle your data.

What we collect

We store your account info (email, name, how you signed in), the profile you set up during onboarding (weight, height, age, goals), and everything you log in the app — meals, exercises, water, weight, fasting, and saved items.

When you type a meal or exercise in natural language, that text is sent to an AI service (Google Gemini) to figure out the nutrition. We keep the parsed result with your log.

If you subscribe to Pro, we store your subscription status. All payments go through the Apple App Store or Google Play — we never see your card details.

We also collect basic analytics and crash data to keep the app working well, and your push notification token if you opt in to reminders.

How we use it

Your data is used to run the app — tracking, goals, stats, streaks, AI parsing, notifications, and managing your account. That's it.

Who else has access

We work with a few services to keep the app running: Firebase for sign-in, Google Gemini for AI parsing, RevenueCat for subscriptions, and PostHog for analytics. Each service only gets the data it needs to do its job.

We do not sell your data to anyone.

Apple Health

On iOS, you can optionally import workouts from Apple Health. We only store the exercises you choose to import — no other Health data is accessed or shared. You can revoke this permission anytime in your device settings.

Deleting your account

You can delete your account from the Account screen in the app. Access is revoked immediately. We may keep a minimal record (like your email) for billing and abuse prevention.

Your controls

You can update your profile and goals anytime. You can turn off notifications or revoke Apple Health access in your device settings. You can delete your account whenever you want.

Children

CaloriePaper is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 13.

Changes to this policy

If we make meaningful changes to this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance.
