By using CaloriePaper ("the app"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use CaloriePaper. By creating an account, you confirm that you meet this requirement.
Your Account
You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure. You may sign in with Google, Apple, or email and password. One account per email address is allowed. You are responsible for all activity under your account.
AI-Powered Features
CaloriePaper uses AI (Google Gemini) to parse natural language inputs into nutritional data. AI outputs are estimates and may be inaccurate. You should verify nutritional information when precision matters. We continuously improve parsing accuracy but do not guarantee correctness.
Health Disclaimer
CaloriePaper is a tracking tool, not medical advice. The app does not diagnose, treat, or prevent any medical condition. Consult a qualified healthcare professional before making significant changes to your diet or exercise routine. Do not rely solely on CaloriePaper for health decisions.
Subscriptions and Billing
CaloriePaper offers a limited number of free AI parses. After that, a CaloriePaper Pro subscription is required to continue using AI features. Subscriptions are billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play. Pricing, renewal, and cancellation are governed by the respective app store's terms. We do not process payments directly.
Deleting your account or removing the app does not cancel your subscription. You must cancel through your device's subscription settings (App Store or Google Play) to stop being charged.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Attempt to circumvent AI usage limits.
- Create multiple accounts to reset usage limits.
- Reverse-engineer, scrape, or interfere with the app or its APIs.
- Use the app for any unlawful purpose.
Suspension and Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms or engage in abusive behavior. You may delete your account at any time from the Account screen in the app. Upon deletion, access is revoked immediately. Some limited records may be retained as described in our Privacy Policy.
Service Availability
We aim to keep CaloriePaper available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The app may be temporarily unavailable for maintenance, updates, or due to circumstances beyond our control.
Warranty Disclaimer
CaloriePaper is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We disclaim all warranties including, but not limited to, implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, CaloriePaper and its team shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the app, including but not limited to health outcomes, data loss, or service interruptions.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
